There is nothing more magical during the Holiday season than being able to spend 24 hours on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC; stay on Estate grounds at the elegant Inn on Biltmore Estate; tour the Biltmore House by candlelight with every room decorated to the nines; savor the gourmet breakfast in the Inn’s dining room; tour the Estate grounds with Jim Nicholson, our own Biltmore expert and of course, sample the Biltmore wines.
Because we are staying at the Inn, we can use the Biltmore shuttles to get around. Dinner will be at an elegant buffet feast at Deer Park Restaurant before heading to Biltmore House for the self-guided Candlelight tour. You can spend up to two hours enjoying the elegance, decorations and holiday entertainment in The House or depart whenever you choose and take the shuttle back to the Inn. Comfortable shoes are a must when, a must when touring the Biltmore House.
Day 2 begins with a gourmet breakfast in the Inn dining room followed by a tour the Estate grounds with Jim Nicholson. Nicholson, who has taught USCB OLLI courses on Biltmore and visits often will enlighten us with stories of the family, the history of the area and little-known facts he has uncovered – a real treat! You can then opt to go to the Biltmore House for a roof top tour (optional-$22), shop and have lunch or spend your time in Antler Village until we depart.
Escorted Trip includes: transport via luxury motor coach; self-guided tour and tasting at Biltmore winery, overnight at the Inn on Biltmore Estate with gourmet breakfast in the dining room, dinner at Deer Park, self-guided Biltmore House candle light tour, Estate grounds tour with Jim Nicholson, use of Biltmore shuttles, snacks on bus & driver’s tip.
Lots of walking involved. Leaves Bluffton about 8am and return around 8 pm next day.
Full payment reserves your space. Cancellation policy: full refund until deadline date. You can sell your space after that, but no refund. Trip closes when it is full which could be before the deadline date.
